A Margin of Excellence:
Thanks to People Like You

The quality of education in any academic unit depends greatly on the resources available to it. Great programs require excellent faculty and a diverse student body comprised of highly motivated students. In the current economic climate, public funding for higher education is on the decline nearly everywhere, and students, through tuition increases, are being asked to pay a greater share of the overall cost of their education. This situation makes the availability of scholarships crucial.

Donations are directed to student scholarships that help promising CAHP students cope with the rising cost of education and faculty endowments that help recruit and retain outstanding new professors in an increasingly competitive field.

To help encourage scholarship support, the University of Minnesota is offering the President's Scholarship Match: an endowed gift over $25,000 to the University that is designated towards student scholarship will be matched by the University, doubling the scholarship given to the student.

For more information regarding the scholarship match, please contact the University of Minnesota Foundationor the Minnesota Medical Foundation.
